Alexander Dan Gheciu, has been granted full membership in CSIC
(Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants) on
13 April 2006
, the very date this organization became the self- regulatory body of the
“immigration consultant” profession.
Created by the Canadian government, CSIC oversees the activity of
its members, ensures they constantly upgrade their skills and, first and
foremost, protects the public at large against unscrupulous and
unauthorized representatives.
Alexander Dan
Gheciu has also been a member of the Organization of Professional
Immigration Consultants (currently known as CAPIC) since 1994 and acted as
its director between 2000-2002. He
has been handling immigration matters since 1991, first with a reputed law
firm in
Toronto
, then as a director of a company incorporated with a partner.
In 1998, Dan established “D&G Europe Consulting”,
which he co-directs along with his wife, Mariana.
He was also member in good standing of the Bucharest Bar
Association between 1981-2007.
Effective 1 March 2007, our company also operates under a new name:
DG Certified Immigration Consultants
(see details in our “Services” section).

Alexandre Dan
Gheciu, juriste, détient un Diplôme d’Études supérieures en Droit comparé
obtenu à Strasbourg, en France. Il s'est vu accorder la pleine adhésion à
la SCCI (Société canadienne des consultants en immigration) le 13 avril
2006, la date même ou cette organisation devenait l'organisme
d'autoréglementation de la profession de «consultant en immigration ».
SCCI a été créé par
le gouvernement canadien en vue de protéger les consommateurs de services
d’immigration tout en assurant l'éducation, l'examen de la compétence et
la bonne conduite de ses membres, ainsi que l’élimination des consultants
fantômes.
Alexander Dan Gheciu a également
été membre depuis 1994 de l'Organisation des consultants professionnels en
immigration (actuellement connue sous le nom d’ACCPI) et fut l’un de ses
directeurs entre 2000-2002.
Il a commencé de s’occuper des questions d'immigration en 1991, tout
d'abord avec un cabinet d'avocats prestigieux à Toronto, puis comme
directeur d'une société constituée en partenariat.
En 1998, il établit « D & G Europe Consulting», qu'il codirige avec son
épouse, Dr. Mariana Gheciu.
Il a été également membre du Barreau de Bucarest entre 1981-2007.
À compter du 1er mars 2007, notre société opère également
sous un nouveau nom : DG Certified Immigration Consultants (voir les
détails dans notre rubrique "Services"). |

Dr.
Mariana Gheciu, who graduated “with honors” the Seneca academic
program for immigration practitioners, also holds multiple law degrees:
LL.B., LL.D., and LL.M (the latter from
University
of
Toronto
). She has been granted
full membership in CSIC after a number of rigorous tests and exams
having thus gained the right to bear the title of “Certified Canadian
Immigration Consultant”. She
is a member of CAPIC too, and, since 1998, has been handling immigration
matters as a co-director of “D&G Europe Consulting”. Currently,
she acts as a member of the Board of Directors for
DG Certified Immigration Consultants.
Both
Dan and Mariana obtained post-university degrees from the International
Faculty of Comparative Law in
Strasbourg
,
France
, and are fluent in English, French and Romanian.
They can also read texts written in Russian, Italian and Albanian.

Raluca Schidu,
our representative in Romania, has
graduated the Law School in Bucharest and is now a graduate student,
preparing herself to defend her LL.M. thesis. The alacrity with which
she managed to assimilate the basics of our inner policies and
procedures together with the remarkable professional skills she managed
to acquire in the interim, make us confident that she is heading to a
brilliant legal career.
